Woodstock 1969.
By: Will Jenkins & Landon Dusablon
In the 1960's, many events were drastically changing the United States' economy, and its environment. Teenagers were rebelling against the establishment, trying to legalize marijuana, drugs like LSD were legal, and not to mention, the vietnam war was going on. In reaction to all of this, four guys, Artie Kornfeld, Michael Lang, John Roberts, and Joel Rosenman put together a 3 day concert, held in Bethel, New York, which led a half million hippies and anti-war citizens to attend and create peace and love throughout our nation. This was history in the making.
